I would point out that this set piece appears to contribute to the overall obliviousness of The Hunger Games marketing team, who consistently offer us opportunities to feel like Capitol residents without actually taking into account that the Capitol is terrible. But also, I am a sucker for a fancy seat of power, and there are already pictures in existence of me confidently sitting in the Iron Throne like I own it. So… people in glass chairs, I guess.
